Diana King - Professional Dancer, Choreographer and Dance Teacher
Founder, Artistic Director and School Principal of the academy . Dianna graduated from dance performing art Department of Beijing Dance Academy, the best dance institution in China, has been a professional dancer for years before setting up the King’s Academy of Dance Arts in 2003. Her choreography work as well her students’ performance have earned numerous awards in US national and regional competition.
Tina Chen - Choreographer and Dance Teacher
Tina graduated from dance education Department of Beijing Dance Academy, the best dance institution in China with bachelor degree and got modern/ contemporary dance training at Matha Graham School. She has been teaching dance class for about 30 years and joined King’s Academy of Dance Arts in 2015.
Karen Verso - Principal Ballet Dancer and Ballet Professor
Karen currently is an adjunct professor of dance at Raritan Valley Community College . She used to be a professional ballet dancer, and performed as principal dancer, or principal /soloist roles in various famous dance institutes. Karen also worked as artist advisor for various performing art pre-professional organizations.
Edward Verso - Master Ballet Dancer and Master Ballet Teacher
Edward is a professional ballet dancer, and performed as master / principal dancer in American Ballet Theatre for many year. Currently he is the artistic director and master teacher at Dance Center of NJ
Loretta Di Bianca Fois - Dance Professor and Director at Raritan Valley Community College
Lorreta got her master degree of dance art from Ohio State University, and has been professional dancer for years before switching to dance education. In addition to dance instruction, she does a lot of work in performing art educational assessment and curriculum design.
Mr. Jack
Music Director
Mr. Jack is a piano teacher and composer. Jack got his bachelor and master degree of music from Brooklyn Music School of New York, then worked in a studio as music editor for years.
Growing up in a famous musician family, mom was a piano professor and dad was a composer, Jack got the music talent from parents and immersed in music throughout his whole childhood. Jack studied in the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in China with concentration in composition and worked as piano teacher in Beijing Academy of Dance （the top dance college in China）before coming to US. Due to the close interaction with dance, Jack has deep understanding of dance music and master the unique charm of different types of dance music.
In recent years, Jack has been concentrating on piano education and dance music composition. Most of the dance music for King’s Academy of Dance Arts are edited or composed by Mr. Jack. A couple of the dances using Jack’s original composition music won US dance competition national top awards .
